Responding to Coronavirus (COVID-19)

We continue to find ourselves in unchartered territory as a nation as we flex to the changing situation in response to COVID-19.

We are delighted to be holding in-person services at Ashington, Washington and Buncton each week. For more details on these services, please click here. Our livestream service can be viewed live every week on Sunday at 11am by visiting our YouTube channel. Our churches at Ashington, Washington and Buncton are also open for private prayer.

While face masks are no longer required, the Church of England “expects and recommends that people wear face coverings in crowded and enclosed settings to protect themselves and others.” We believe this to be a wise precaution and ask those attending if they are comfortable to do so to take an LFT test the morning of attending, to wear a face covering and also take care to hand sanitise when entering any of the church buildings. We also ask that anyone considering attending to stay home if they are feeling ill, be it covid symptoms or not, and join us for church online, as well as getting in touch with our healing team.

As a church we are praying for all in our community to be free from all fear and anxiety:

“Do not be anxious about anything but in everything, by prayer, and with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your mind in Christ Jesus”

Philippians 4:6-7
