Responding to Coronavirus (COVID-19)
We find ourselves in unchartered territory as a nation as we flex to the changing situation in response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus)
Churches are not required to meet in person and should make a decision based on the safety of all those concerned. At the point of writing, Chanctonbury Church has decided to move services online. Our churches at Ashington, Washington and Buncton will remain open for private prayer.
If you would like pastoral or spiritual support during this challenging time, our helpline 01903 357043 continues to be manned from 8am-9pm daily. You can also email help@chanctonbury.org.uk for practical help, pray@chanctonbury.org.uk for prayer and pastor@chanctonbury.org.uk for any pastoral needs. See below for more information.
Funerals can go ahead with a maximum of 30 attendees, weddings can go ahead with a maximum of 6 attendees and baptisms should be postponed unless essential.

As a church we are praying for all in our community to be free from all fear and anxiety:
“Do not be anxious about anything but in everything, by prayer, and with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your mind in Christ Jesus”
Philippians 4:6-7
