Revd James di Castiglione Rector
I am married to Lou, we have four children and one daughter-in-law! We moved down from London to Sussex in 2008, and have served at Chanctonbury since 2013. I was born again aged 15 from a trajectory of destruction and oblivion; encountering Jesus transformed everything. Knowing Him is my passion and joy, and I am devoted to seeing Chanctonbury as a place – and churches everywhere – filled with His tangible presence, and impacting the nations as the early Church did.
Lou di Castiglione Head of Ministry Development
I became a Christian as a teenager and have been passionately and consistently following Him ever since! Knowing Jesus has given me joy, a great sense of security and peace and daily hope. Knowing that I am treasured and loved by Him has given me a passion to see others know this truth and for their lives to be impacted and transformed by Jesus too. James and I have always shared the vision together for the church, and I serve as part of the Senior Leadership Team. I love being a Mum and family is a hugely important part of our lives!
Revd Paddy Donovan Associate Vicar Ashington
I was licensed as Associate Vicar in November 2024, having lived and served in the parish in different capacities since 2014. I’m married to Sarah and we have two young daughters, Mary and Erin.
I came to faith in Jesus at 20 yrs old, through tangibly experiencing the Holy Spirit. God healed the wounds of insecurity, guilt and shame which had led to pursuing so many futile endeavours. As a result, I am passionate about the spiritual disciplines where God can cultivate His abundant life in our everyday lives.
Nigel Sussex Head of People and Operations
I’ve been a follower of Jesus since being a teenager. Knowing the Father heart of God has been transformative in my Christian Life. Together with my wife Julie, we have been part of Chanctonbury since 2021. We have three grown- up children and five grandchildren. One of our key values is expressing the Love of God through hospitality. Our passion is to see people transformed through the good news of the gospel and being knitted into God’s family.
Andy Storey Head of Youth
At 18 years old I had no understanding of Jesus. I came to Ashington Church for the first time, powerfully encountered God and have never been the same since. I long for young people to know Jesus everyday of their lives and to see their friends come to know Jesus. What would it look like for Revival to come to Sussex in Young people? My wife Lillie and I serve the young people here in the church, our local schools and area.
Lillie Storey Youth Pastor
Jesus met me in a completely unexpected way at 16 – and I gave my life to Him. My husband Andy and I have the joy of serving the youth together, sensing a call from the Lord to be a bold witness. I’m especially passionate about seeing girls rise up in their God-given identity—growing in confidence and truth amidst the pressures of today’s culture.
Alfie Mitchell Ministry Assistant for Youth
I moved to Sussex in 2013 and encountered Jesus during the COVID quarantine. Since then, I’ve been passionate about following Him and growing in my relationship with Him. I gave my life to Jesus in early 2025 and was baptised in April. I’m excited to see how He will work through the Youth and help them grow in faith.
Holly Draper Head of Kids
Since joining the Chanctonbury team in 2018, I’ve loved seeing God at work in the lives of children and families. Though I’ve known Him since childhood, He’s taken me on a journey of discovering the depth of His radical love; a life now full of freedom, joy and confidence in His abundant love. I’m passionate about helping young people encounter God, discover their gifts, and step into all He has for them with joy, anticipation, and awe.
Annalise Yeates Ministry Assistant for Kids
This is my second year being a part of Chanctonbury Church. I am helping with the kids ministry as my placement for my diploma at St Mellitus Church studying children’s and youth ministry. I love seeing children encounter God in creative ways and surprising people with my earring collection.
Revd Patrick Pearson-Miles Curate
I have been a follower of Jesus all my life. I am married to Philly and we have two grown-up sons, one of which was married in October 2024. We have lived in Sussex since 2005 and joined Chanctonbury in 2006. I was ordained in June 2021. Philly and have been congregational heads for Washington church and oversee the healing ministry at Chanctonbury. The dream is to see the local and national church moving effectively in the supernatural ministry of Jesus.
Felicity Barnum-Bobb Administration, Media and Communications Coordinator
After a dream – hearing the word “Ashington”, I moved here from London in 2021. I have 4 adult children. When I was filled with the Holy Spirit and released in joy, Jesus transformed me from low self-esteem, striving and performing for acceptance into bubbling peace and joy, living from the assurance of His love! I have a passion for prayer, centred on the word, along with ‘creating in His presence’.
Philly Pearson-Miles PA to James and Lou di Castiglione
I have had the privilege of being part of the Admin team here at Chanctonbury for over 12 years – on and off – and in a variety of capacities! Married to Patrick, who is part of the clergy team, together we help with church services, as well as head up the Healing Team. I also love being part of the Sozo team, as I have a passion to help people to be led into all Truth and set free from everything that hinders.
Pippa Cleeve Events Coordinator
I am married to Alex and we have four children. I came to faith after attending an Alpha course in 2002, and a revelation of the Father Heart of God has enabled me to live from a place of acceptance rather than performance. I love preparing the practical elements for anything from a wedding to a church weekend, and particularly enjoy creating a warm welcome for those attending.
