Where: Ashington Church/Ashington Youth Club
What to expect
We get together every Sunday and join the 11am gathering at Ashington Church to worship Jesus, before heading to the Ashington Youth Club. At the youth club we use the time to connect with one another get involved in challenges and games, worship, pray and learn how to grow closer to God together.
How to join in: Arrive at Ashington Church at 9.30am on Sunday and make yourself known to the welcome team on the doors who will introduce you to Andy or Lillie.

We were gathering every Sunday @ 5pm as a “Pop-Up” church service from November 2025 – 8 February 2026. A vibrant new multi-generational service and those new to faith. We are so thankful for what the Lord is doing in Steyning Grammar School. This church service has now finished – so we’d love you to come along to Ashington on Sundays or join Youth Alpha @ Ashington starting 24 Feb @ Ashington.
This was a joint church venture with Chanctonbury Church, (Ashington, Washington and Buncton) 3 B’s Church (Beeding, Bramber and Botholph’s), Thakeham Parish Church and Storrington Community Church.
Youth Team
Hi we’re Andy and Lillie Storey, and together we lead the Youth at Chanctonbury Church.
We are hungry to see God transform and work through the lives of the young people here in West Sussex. We want all young people to know how loved they are by their Heavenly Father, to encounter and be led by the Holy Spirit and to build their lives upon the rock of Jesus’s teachings.
We long for young people to never grow out of their garments of praise, to firmly tread on the narrow path every day of their lives, even in the darkest of valleys. Join us to help you become pioneers of the Possible, whilst laughing in the face of the fear of the improbable.
So if you’re in school years 7–13, come and join us. Let’s journey together and see what story the Lord has in store for your life!
1:1 Mentoring
Mentoring is a one-to-one relationship between a young person and a member of the Chanctonbury Youth Team or an ‘Approved Volunteer’ that seeks to support, encourage and build the young person in their faith. We’re currently offering 1:1 monthly mentoring slots for youth in school years 11-13.
