At Chanctonbury, we believe that the God revealed in the pages of the Bibles speaks of a God who is not far off, but near by the Holy Spirit. We believe that as Christians, we have the invitation to experience God’s presence tangibly in all contexts and at all times.

Encounter God when we gather together

In our gatherings, we will intentionally make time and space for this, inviting the Holy Spirit in prayer to be present and a part of our worship, our work, our social interactions and so much more.

Encounter God everyday

We encourage the Chanctonbury Church family to grow in hosting the presence of God where this supernatural relationship is not an exceptional moment, but part of our everyday life which will impact the way we live, transforming our surroundings as well.

We suggest you turn off distractions – such as negative messages on the news or social media – and set your mind on good things.  Thankfulness can be the start of breakthrough!

Philippians 4:8 – Finally brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things.
