Christian life is the life-long journey of following Jesus here on earth. 

It is a daily practice of surrendering our lives to him, growing in our relationship with God, and living out our faith in the world like Jesus.

Matthew 10:39 – Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.

As Christians, we are part of God’s family, the Church, and we are inspired to love one another, serve one another, and share the good news of Jesus. 

John 13:34-35 – A new command I give upi: Love on another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples.

This life is not always easy; it involves sacrifice to follow Jesus, which means we will face challenges and opposition. 

Luke 9: 23 – Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.

However, we are not alone. The Holy Spirit empowers us and guides us, and we have the support of our spiritual family – the Church.  

Galatians 5:22-23 – But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forebearance, kindness, goodnesss, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. 

The invitation, is then to share this Good News with friends,  neighbors and family!

Matthew 28;19-20 – Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you until the end of the age.
