We would love some more help at Ashington Church Cafe! The cafe is such a wonderful and valued part of community life, serving more than 60 people most Tuesday afternoons. The first session is fairly quiet session between 2-3.15pm mainly with our older people and mums with young children. From 3.15-4.00pm, a lot of parents and children from the school arrive for a busy session, followed by clear up. The Cafe is closed during half-term and school holidays. It would be wonderful to have more help serving between 1.00pm-4.45pm, and we also need a few bakers. All monies raised in the cafe, by way of donations, are given back to local Ashington Community groups.
