Ashington CE School (Reception to year 6)

Ashington School’s ethos: Our Christian vision is at the heart of everything we do in school and central to our relationship with our children’s families and the wider community. We believe our Christian values give our children strong foundations to know how to treat others, make good choices and contribute positively to society when they leave us.

Head Teacher: Pip Fairweather. Pip became the Headteacher at Ashington CE School in April 2015 having previously taught at Plaistow and Kirdford Primary School for nearly fourteen years. She began her teaching career in 1991 as a Reception Class teacher and has taught in every year group of the primary phase and loved every minute of it. She lives only ten minutes away from school.

St Mary’s CE Primary School (Reception to year 6)

Washington School’s ethos: Within a Christian and caring family atmosphere we work together to provide a stimulating and happy school, where everyone can learn and do their best. Each child is welcomed as being special.

Head Teacher: Mrs Keeley Houston. Keeley is passionate about education and inspiring young hearts and minds to become life long learners. Keeley has been a teacher for almost 20 years and has worked mostly in the Primary sector. For the past 10 years she has worked in schools, in both West Sussex and Brighton and Hove; leading middle leaders and as a Deputy Head Teacher.
