Get involved with one of our teams.
We set the highest value in our children’s and youth ministries. To explore being part of the team, it is essential to love Jesus and be seeking His Kingdom, to be a good team player, and have an up to date enhanced DBS check and to adhere to our safeguarding policy.
Head of Kids
Our heart for serving on the youth team is to get alongside our young people on their level and help them to experience the fullness of God’s kingdom so they can be fully equipped to be the church of today and tomorrow, to change the world. We have found that serving and investing into our young people is a huge honour but also a mutually encouraging experience for our leaders. Practically, this could be serving on a Sunday morning in our youth sessions that run during morning church services, supporting our youth as they grow in their worship gifting or helping to lead one of our youth nights, Set the Fire services or social events!
Hosting Teams are a great way to start participating in church life, make new friends and have fun welcoming people to church!
The hosting team prepares for the running of services, both practically and spiritually. They are the first point of contact, a welcoming face as you enter church and someone who can point newcomers in the right direction. All you need to qualify is a smile!
Production: Sound and Projection
Our Production Team are responsible for sound, projection in our services. All are welcome to explore getting involved, experience is desirable, but newbies are very welcome!
Our Kitchen Team is here to offer warm and generous hospitality to all who come to church. Through serving tea, coffee and other goodies on a Sunday morning, we extend the grace and love of Jesus to those big and small!
If you have a heart for hospitality and are willing to give your time once a month on a Sunday, please consider joining the team.
Worship is at the heart of all that we do, as we lift our gaze to the Lord. Skilled musicians who lead the people of God into His throne room are a key part of our ministry.
Prayer ministry plays an important part in each service as we seek to seal what the Spirit of God is doing in people’s lives. From time to time we run training sessions to equip us in praying for others. If you would like to be notified of upcoming dates, please get in touch.
We are excited that you are expressing a desire to be part of the Chanctonbury Healing Centre (CHC) Team. If you are part of Chanctonbury there are two things we would ask: that you are part of a ‘Kingdom Family Community (KFC)’ and that you ask your KFC leader/s to recommend you for this ministry. You will also need to do the training which we aim to run each term. We look forward to having you join the CHC team.
