We are excited to gather together for Beer & Carols on Tuesday 24 December at 8.00pm at the Frankland Arms Pub in Washington.  Invite neighbours, friends and family to come and sing along to your favourite Christmas Carols! 

This year’s Christmas offering across the Parish will go to ‘Family Support Work’, a faith-motivated charity providing services for families in Sussex, helping to overcome difficulties and prevent crisis. They aim to support parents to ensure their children have the best start in life.  More information here.

Our services this Sunday are: 9am Holy Communion at Ashington // 10am Morning Worship at Washington // 11am Morning Worship at Ashington All are welcome! Please note that there is no Family Service at Washington this week.

Chanctonbury Healing Centre is open on Saturday 14 December from 10.00 – 11.00am. Every month we are seeing healing: physical, spiritual, emotional transformation is happening! If you need a miracle, come along!

Come and celebrate Christmas at Chanctonbury Church!  You can view all this year’s Christmas events and services by going to the website. Please be praying that many will encounter Jesus during this season, as we celebrate the extraordinary good news of God Himself coming to be with us!    

This year, to make sure everyone can enjoy our ‘Carols by Candlelight’ we have decided to have two Carol services on Sunday 15 December, at 5.00pm and 7.00pm. Please let us know which service you will be attending. Register for the 5.00pm service here and the 7.00 pm service here.

Join us for a festive Carol Service at Washington Church on Saturday 14 December at 6.00pm.  There is a candlelit procession from the village hall car park at 5.30pm – please bring your own lantern. 

We are looking for festive bakers who can make mince pies and star shaped biscuits for children to decorate for our Christmas Cafe and Christingle on Monday 16 December at Ashington Church. If you can help please contact Holly. Email:  holly.draper@chanctonbury.org.uk

The Christmas Edition of Church Life Magazine is out. There are still a few magazines that need to be delivered so grab a bundle at the back of the church and be part of this amazing opportunity to deliver the Good News of Jesus to every household in our three villages!   

Bishop Richard Jackson will be leaving the diocese for Hereford. There will be a farewell service at All Saints Church, Eastbourne on Saturday 18 January at 3.00pm to give thanks for his years of ministry in the Diocese of Chichester.  A contribution to a farewell collection to acknowledge his service will be presented to Bishop […]

We are keen to know of people from within our congregations across the three churches who are First Aid trained as we require First Aiders to be on hand at our services.
