Washington Village Day

This Saturday 6 July Chanctonbury Church will be hosting a stall with craft, stories and prayer at Washington Village Day and many volunteers from both Ashington and Washington congregations are helping. The day runs from 12.00 – 5.00pm, and all are welcome to attend and support this annual event!

Chanctonbury Healing Centre is open next Saturday 13 July between 10 – 11.00am at Ashington Church. We are continually hearing wonderful stories of healing and restoration. No appointment needed – just drop in, and there will be people who would consider it a privilege to minister to you.

Kingdom Come Workshops

We are holding a series of ‘Kingdom Come Workshops’ on different themes where we sense the Father at work. (“We only do what we see the Father doing”).  The first of these will be on ‘Dream Interpretation’ and is on Thursday 18 July, 7.45pm at St Mary’s Wiston. All are welcome!

Yapton Free Church Encounter Evening

All are welcome to join Catch the Fire Ministries along with Rich & Lydia Dicas for an evening of Worship! Thursday 25 July, 7pm at Yapton Village Green. Rich & Lydia Dicas are “wild worshippers” whose hearts burn to see God’s love transform people. Rich works as the UK director for David’s Tent.

Update from Sam & Chloe Mutton, Kampala, Uganda.

Earlier this year, “Ashington Gives” gave some funds to Sam & Chloe Mutton (nee Maclay, daughter of former Rector Chris Maclay) as they embarked on their new venture in Kampala, Uganda. Check out their short 5 min video update here which includes how to be praying for them.

Life Centre are looking for volunteers for their helpline

Lifecentre is a Christian charity providing counselling for survivors of rape and sexual abuse www.lifecentre.uk.com. They are looking to train people on their helplines. The commitment is three sessions per month. They offer full training starting in September, no previous counselling qualifications needed. This Sunday 30 June at Chanctonbury Churches

There will be one service in the Parish this Sunday 30 June at 11am in Ashington Church. Refreshments will be served from 10.15am. Nick Taylor will be running a cake sale outside the church before the service to raise money for Ashington Youth Club so bring some money!
