Our services this Sunday are: 9am Morning Worship at Ashington // 10am Holy Communion [BCP] at Washington  // 11am Morning Worship at Ashington. (NB: There is no parking at the Community Centre as there is an event on so please park sensitively. Parking will be available at Church Farm).

The Women’s Breakfast is this Saturday 29 February at 8.45am. Come and enjoy breakfast, meet new friends, and hear a short talk about how God is transforming lives. The breakfast is open to all women and is free. Donations are welcome on the day. Please sign up here.  

New ‘Kingdom Family Communities’ and commissioning of leaders will take place this Sunday 1 March. These groups will enable us to grow and also connect as “extended” family. Links to online sign up for church members will be sent following services this Sunday. First gatherings will be from late March.

Set the Fire is this Sunday 1 March 6pm at Ashington Church. This is a gathering for young people (13-18 years) from across Sussex. There will be hot chocolate, snacks, worship and a space to encounter His presence and be transformed. All young people are welcome!

Sinai Session is next Tuesday 3 March 10.00am until 11.30am in Ashington Church. Transformation through being in the glory of God. With worship flowing, creative resources on hand, a free space to be – this is all about encountering God. All are welcome!

Following the month of prayer in January, we will be re-starting Morning Prayer in Ashington Church every Wednesday morning throughout March at 9.00am starting on 4 March. Also, every third Friday of the month, starting 20 March at 7.45pm there will be a ‘Worship Night’ in Ashington Church.  Do come along!

All are welcome to our interactive morning of C1 Safeguarding Training followed by an opportunity to hear Graham and Sarah White, foster carers to over fifty children over fifteen years, share their experiences of safely demonstrating God’s love to the lost, lonely and broken. On Sunday 29 March after the 11am Service at Ashington, all are welcome to come along, bring some lunch to share and hear from the interns following their recent trip to India visiting mission partner Shilpa and the Adivarsi hill tribal people.   

We are holding a Day Conference and Revival Night for the whole Chanctonbury Church family in Ashington Church ahead of South Downs Awakening this summer. Creche, kids and youth work will be available.  Look out for the email to sign up!

All are invited to the Annual Parochial Church Meeting of the parish of Chanctonbury.  This is our AGM and will take place at 7.30pm on Monday 27 April at Ashington Church.
