There will be one service in the Parish this Sunday 26 May,10.00am at Washington Church (No services at Ashington).  As in previous years, the Chanctonbury Church gazebo will be up at the top of the hill at BCDO for you to use, and to help you link up with others.

Stephen Backhouse continues his series of four Teaching Seminars on ‘The Kingdom of Love’, tonightThursday 23 May at 7.45pm in Washington Church. All are welcome!

Please note next week is Half Term and there is no Shining Stars and no Community Cafes. Shining Stars returns on Monday 3 June & Church Lane Cafe returns on Tuesday 4 June. Also, there will be no weekly news next week as the Church office is closed. 

We are looking forward to celebrating the Unification of the Benefice into the Parish of Chanctonbury on Saturday 1 June at 6.00pm in Ashington Community Centre! Don’t forget to sign up using the email link which was sent to your inbox on Friday 10 May. 

Following our party on Saturday, we are gathering on Sunday 2 June for our One Church Thanksgiving & Celebration Service at 11.00am in Ashington. This will be the only service in the parish. Refreshments from 10.15am. Youth & Kids is on! Set the Fire is on, 6.00pm at Ashington Church.

The next Sinai Session is on Tuesday 4 June 10.00am until 11.30am in Ashington Church. Transformation through being in the glory of God. With worship flowing, creative resources on hand, a free space to be – this is all about encountering God. All are welcome!

Chanctonbury Healing Centre is open on Saturday 8 June between 10 – 11.00am at Ashington Church. We are continually hearing wonderful stories of healing and restoration. No appointment needed – just drop in, and there will be people who would consider it a privilege to minister to you. 

Ashington Youth Club Car Wash Fundraiser is on Saturday 15 June, from 9am outside the Youth Club. If you would like to support the Youth Club, please email nick@ashingtonyouth.co.uk to book a time.  These are every 15 minutes between 9am-12pm. Cost £4/£6 depending on car size!  Tea/coffee/cakes available to buy.

Stephen & Clare Backhouse are looking for accommodation for friends from Canada who are visiting the church and Kingdom Come Conference. Jason and Shannon and their three girls (aged 10, 8 and 6) will be here 14 June till 2 July. Please contact stephen.backhouse@icloud.com if you are able to help!

Our Services this Sunday are 9am Morning Worship at Ashington // 10am Holy Communion at Washington  // 11am Morning Worship at Ashington // 11am Holy Communion at All Saints Buncton. Please note there is a football tournament this Sunday in Ashington so please park sensitively.
