The Church Office will be closed over the Christmas period from Thursday 20 December and will re-open on Monday 7 January. Weekly News will be back on Thursday 3 January 2019! 

Our services this Sunday are: 10am Morning Worship at Ashington (No 9am or 11am services) // 10am Holy Communion at Washington // 6pm Carol Service at Ashington (NB: Parking will be at Church Farm as there is an event at the Community Centre).

All are welcome to our Carol Service this Saturday 15 December 6pm at Washington Church. There will be a candlelit procession starting at the Village Hall at 5.30pm. There will be mulled wine and mince pies following the service. 

Join us this Sunday 16 December for our Carol Service 6pm at Ashington. This year, refreshments will be served in the Scout Hall after the service, including beer, mulled wine, non-alcoholic spiced apple & mince pies! The Chocolate Bar for youth and children will be open! Parking will be at Church Farm. 

All are welcome at this wonderful annual Family Carol Service which is taking place on Friday 21 December 5pm at St Mary’s Wiston. Refreshments will be served in the church afterwards.

This year’s Christmas offering will go towards Imago Dei Prison Ministry to fund their ongoing work with women prisoners; helping them renew their thinking, be healed from past issues and hurts, and giving them hope and courage to lead fulfilled, whole and meaningful lives. More information here.

Join us for the Crib Service on Monday 24 December 4pm at Ashington Church. Children can come dressed up as their favourite nativity character! Also on Christmas Eve the Midnight Service with Holy Communion will take place at Washington Church starting at 11pm.

Join us for our Christmas Day Services as we gather to worship and celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus! 9am at Washington with Holy Communion // 10am at Ashington // 11am with Holy Communion at Wiston. 

As we begin 2019, all are invited to start the new year by creating extra time and space to seek God. We are setting aside January as a month of prayer and fasting beginning on Friday 4 January. More details will follow soon!
