In the new year, the Washington Home Group will be running ‘The Bible Course’ produced by the Bible Society. If you would like more information or are interested in joining them, please contact Bruce Wallace: wallacebuk@aol.com

This Sunday 11 November there are Remembrance Day Services in each parish: Ashington, Washington & St Mary’s Wiston. The Services start at 10.45am followed by refreshments. There is no Youth on this Sunday at Ashington but the Youth Club will be open from 10.00am before the service.

Little Lambs is on tomorrow Friday 9 November at Washington Church 10.00 – 11.30am. There will be songs, stories, craft, healthy snacks, as well as tea, coffee and biscuits. All are welcome.

Chanctonbury Healing Centre is on this Saturday 10 November from 10.00 –11.00am. No appointment is required, just turn up to Ashington Church if you, or anyone you know, needs healing. We are experiencing that the “prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective”.

The Women’s Breakfast is on Saturday 17 November 8.45 – 11.00am at Ashington Church. Come along for a time of inspiration, encouragement, support and discovering all it means to be a daughter of the King of Kings. Perry-May Britton will be speaking on ‘the Joy of Thankfulness’. All women welcome!

As we prepare for the church plant next year, join this time of dynamic prayer for revival every Thursday morning during school term time at 8:45 – 9:15am in Washington church. Everyone welcome!

We are holding three evenings connecting newcomers in the church communities to what God is doing, we will be covering: Who we are, How we live together and Adventuring ahead to the future. In the past few months our numbers have built up which is so exciting. However, we’re needing more leaders and helpers to nurture and care for our precious 1-4 years olds. If you are able to offer some help please email: children@chanctonbury.org.uk.

The next Mid-Week Holy Communion Service is on Thursday 15 November at 11.00am in Ashington Church, with refreshments from 10.30am. All are welcome.

Our services this Sunday are 9am Morning Worship at Ashington // 10am Holy Communion at Washington// 11am Morning Worship at Ashington. Please Note: The usual playgroup space at the community centre is being used for a memorial concert. Therefore the crèche children will remain in church this Sunday. 

Set the Fire is on this Sunday 4 November 6pm at Ashington Church – Uniting Young Worshippers (13-19 yrs) from across the South Downs Area. There will be refreshments and fireworks followed by a worship space to encounter His presence.
