There will be another training session on Monday evening, 2 July for those who would like to become lay ministers of Holy Communion. A showing of Paddington 2 will take place on Sunday 13 May at 2.30pm in Ashington Community Centre. Tickets are £6 but are being kindly offered to the church on a “Buy One Get One Free” basis. For tickets, please speak to Bruce Wallace (wallacebuk@aol.com)  or Simon Kinrade.

This Sunday, there will be one Joint service (with Holy Communion) in the Benefice at 11am in Ashington, with breakfast from 10.30am. (Please note there is no service at Washington and no 9am service at Ashington).

This annual opportunity to join with others from the village is on Saturday 28th April at 10am until 1.00pm. This year everyone is meeting at the Youth Club (as the Marriage Morning is taking place in the church).  Jackets and equipment will be supplied – as well as tea and coffee!

Come and hear about our mission partners, pray for them and pray into our desire to be a generous church on Monday 30 April at 7.30pm in Ashington church. Last year, Ashington Church gave away £42,000 to individuals and charities around the world.
