Our month of prayer and worship engaging with the Father’s heart together and committing the year to the Lord as a family continues, as we pray for His presence and glory to impact lives and communities. Information about Daily Morning Prayer and Worship Nights here 

Our second night of worship takes place tomorrow, Friday 17 January in Ashington Church as part of our month of Prayer and Worship Doors open at 7.45pm for an 8.00pm start. All are welcome to join as we commit the forthcoming year to the Lord together as a family.

We are holding three evenings connecting newcomers in the church communities to what God is doing.  These nights will be held at Ashington Church on 28 January and 11 February and Ashington Village Club on 4 February. Arrive 7.45pm for an 8.00pm start. Please register here if you would like to attend.

The India Mission trip is taking off soon! Flights are booked and preparations are in full swing! If you would like to pray for the trip and receive prayer updates whilst the team are away, please email ed.quibell@chanctonbury.org.uk. Sunday 2 February is our Gift day for South Downs Awakening. Event costs are not fully covered and we are keen to keep the ticket prices down. Each monetary gift helps make this God-given dream become reality! Give on the day or complete the pledge form.  More information on the SDA website.

All are welcome to come to the next training for Chanctonbury Healing Centre Thursday 6 and 13 February in Washington Church at 7.45-9.30pm. Learn more about the nature of God, healing in the bible, hearing God’s voice and how to heal the sick. You need to attend both sessions to complete training.  Register here. 

We had a wonderful Newcomers Lunch last week with over 60 attending. Our next lunch is Sunday 9 February. Whether you’ve been here for a month, six months or a year, come to connect with others and build community over a light lunch. If you would like to attend, sign up here.   

It has been reported that some emails we are sending out are not being received and have only been found when the recipient checked their SPAM (sometimes called junk) folders. If you have not been receiving expected emails please check your SPAM folders to see if they are there. 

There will be a Service of Thanksgiving for SPLASH, a Christian charity working with children, young people and families at the heart of the local community at St Mary’s Church, Thakeham on Sunday 19 January at 4pm.
