Our services this Sunday are 9am Holy Communion at Ashington // 10am Family Service at Washington // 11am Christingle at Ashington followed by a Christmas Market, supporting home grown businesses. Please come prepared to do a little Christmas shopping! There is a Toy Fair at Ashington Community Centre so please park sensitively.

The Christingle Service at Ashington Church is this Sunday 9 December at 11am. This year, the Washington Christingle will be part of Washington School’s Christmas Celebration Service on Tuesday 18 December 2pm at Washington Church. All are welcome!

Chanctonbury Healing Centre is this Saturday 8 December 10 – 11.00am at Ashington Church. There will be a team of people available to pray for you and act as a ‘conduit’ for God releasing ‘heaven on earth’ in the form of healing peoples lives. There is no issue too small nor too great!

We are so excited to gather everyone in the community for Beer & Carols this Saturday 8 December 6.00pm outside the Red Lion pub! Bring your neighbours and your friends and come sing along to your favourite Christmas Carols! 

‘Splash’ are running a Christmas Craft at Washington Church this Saturday 8 December at 3 – 5.30pm. Families can enjoy making Christmas craft items, including things to give as a gift, to hang on your tree or put in your tummy! There is no cost but donations are welcome on the day.

Washington Church Carol Service is Saturday 15 December 6 -7.30pm Ashington Church Carol Service is Sunday 16 December 6 – 7.30pm Wiston Family Carols is Friday 21 December at St Mary’s Wiston from 5 – 6.00pm All of our Carol Services are followed by Festive Refreshments!

This year’s Christmas offering will go towards Imago Dei Prison Ministry to fund their ongoing work with women prisoners; helping them renew their thinking, be healed from past issues and hurts, and giving them hope and courage to lead fulfilled, whole and meaningful lives. More information here.

Shining Stars Christmas Party is Monday 10 December 9.30 – 11.00am at Ashington Church including a nativity and presents! Set the Fire is this Sunday 2 December 6.00pm at Ashington Church. This is a gathering for young people (13 – 19 years) from across Sussex. There will be festive hot chocolates, cookies, worship and a space to encounter His presence and be transformed. All are welcome!
