We are so excited to launch Chanctonbury Churches Healing Centre which opens on Saturday 15 September from 10.00 –11.00am. No appointment is required, just turn up to Ashington Church if you would like prayer.

The next Mid-Week Holy Communion Service is on Thursday 20 September with refreshments from 10.30am.

On Saturday 22 September at 3.30pm we are having a BBQ inviting all Children’s Church Team & Parents to meet and welcome Nick Taylor & Holly Draper our Children’s Leaders. We are sad to announce that Sally Nunn passed away last week. She was a long-standing part of the Ashington church family. Her funeral will take place at Ashington Church on Friday 21 September at 2.00pm, conducted by Rev Lionel Watley.

Our services this Sunday are 9am Morning Worship at Ashington // 10am Holy Communion at Washington. There is no 11am Service at Ashington as we are heading to David’s Tent. Join us all plus hundreds of people for worship at David’s Tent. 

Shining Stars Toddler Group will start up again on Monday 10 September 9.30 – 11am at Ashington Church. They continue to run each Monday during term time. 

Church Lane Café will reopen on Tuesday 18 September at Ashington Church 2 – 4pm. Please note Church Lane Café in Ashington will now run fortnightly during term time.

Little Lambs Toddler Group starts up again on Friday 14 September at 10am at Washington Church.

We are so excited about our Chanctonbury Churches Weekend at Home! Friday 28 – Sunday 30 September in Ashington Village! We are planning a mix of time to grow in God, time for us to be ‘family together’ and time for memories to be made! Find out more info & book here. 

On Sunday 23 September, there will be one service in the Benefice at 4pm in Ashington Church.  This will be the licensing by Bishop Martin of our new Associate Vicar Jim Waddell as well as the Commissioning of our new Children’s and Youth leaders, Nick Taylor and Holly Draper.

Ashington Church is looking for someone to act as Administrator for our Safeguarding Team. This person would take responsibility for handling data and the legal documentation in hand. If you have experience with admin and awareness of the DBS checking process, that would be ideal!  Please contact the Church Office.
