This monthly service will take place on Thursday 19 July at 11am in Ashington Church with refreshments from 10.30am. All are welcome.

Pick up a brochure and booking form this Sunday in church and bookings will be open from 1pm.  Look out for the email landing in your inbox on Sunday!  Don’t miss out on this great opportunity as we gather together as one church family.

On Sunday 29 July we are having a joint service at 10am at Washington Church. There will be no services at Ashington.

The Closing Date for applications has now passed. Please be praying for wisdom and discernment for the interviewing panel and for the Lord’s leading as interviews take place over the next few days.

On Sunday 23 September, there will be one service in the Benefice at 4pm in Ashington Church.  This will be the licensing by Bishop Martin of our new Associate Vicar Jim Waddell as well as the Commissioning of our new Children’s and Youth leaders, Nick Taylor and Holly Draper.  

Velo South is a 100 mile road event taking place across this area.  Many roads will be closed including London Road, Ashington from 6.30am until 12.45pm.  The road should open again in time for our Licensing service at 4pm.  There will be no morning services across the Benefice that day.

All are welcome to join the Church Community Walk on Saturday 7 July. The walk will meet at 2.45pm at Sullington Church and will end there as well at 4pm. Please bring some money for coffee, tea and cakes as there is an excellent cafe there!

Little Lambs Baby & Toddler Group at Washington Church takes place next Friday 13 July at 10 – 11.30am. You can expect lots of songs, play, a healthy snack along with tea/coffee and biscuits.

We are recruiting for a full time Worship Pastor! The Closing Date for applications is Wednesday 11 July. Please be praying for the Lord to draw the right person and for His leading, and for wisdom and discernment for the interviewing panel as we begin searching for the right person.
