James and the churchwardens welcome any questions by email or hard copy in advance of the Annual Parochial Church Meeting on Monday 23 April. Responses will be published beforehand. There will be an opportunity for Q&A on the evening. Please submit questions by Easter Sunday 1 April to the church office.

The church office is closed next week 2 – 8 April. There is no cafe and no Shining Stars at Ashington until term starts again w/c 16 April. Next Sunday 8 April there is one service at 9am at Ashington (Holy Communion). There will be a church community walk up to Chanctonbury Ring at 11am.

Wildfires is a new festival at Wiston House, bringing communities together from across the country and the globe, to experience God’s presence. 9am Morning Worship at Ashington, 10am Morning Worship at Washington, 11am Holy Communion at Ashington. Please note that on Sunday 8 April there will be one service at 9am at Ashington (Holy Communion). There will be a church community walk up to Chanctonbury Ring at 11am.

Morning Meditations are starting next week at 8.45am – 9.15am at Washington Church. ‘The Things He Carried’ – a series of meditations through Holy Week. Join either as an individual session, or as a walk with Jesus to the Cross.

7.30pm at Washington Church. As the month of prayer at Washington draws to a close, join us for a time of worship & prayer as we continue to Seek the Face of God to see more of the Kingdom of God amongst us.

Friday 30 March: Morning Meditation with Worship 10am at Washington Church – Tenebrae Service 8pm at Ashington Church. This is a solemn service with time for reflection on the sufferings of Christ.

Sunday 1 April: 6.30am Sunrise Service with informal Holy Communion on Chanctonbury Ring (Meet at Washington Car Park at 5.30am) – 9am Easter Celebration Service with Holy Communion at Washington Church – 10am Easter Celebration Service at Ashington Church – 11am Easter Celebration Service with Holy Communion at All Saints Buncton  

There are still copies of the Easter edition of Church Life Magazine which need distributing. Please pick up a bundle at church this Sunday. It would be great to get all the information about what is going on at Easter out to our communities.
