On Friday 22nd December, we are shooting a short promo film for Children’s Church for a future project. In 2018, we are ‘Seeking the Face of God’. January will be set aside as we pray for the year ahead. As three churches, we shall be gathering on four Wednesday nights in January on 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st, so Save the Dates. More information to follow, on Christmas Day.

On Saturday 6 January at 2pm, join others from across our churches for a walk. There will be walks of various lengths planned, so all are welcome. Little Lambs Baby & Toddler Group Christmas special! Takes place tomorrow – Friday 8 December. It’s our Christmas celebration – you can expect songs, the nativity story, healthy snack along with tea/coffee and mince pies and a fun craft!

This Sunday 10 December, join us for the Christingle services. 10am at Washington, 11am at Ashington. Next Monday 11th December, Shining Stars Baby and Toddler Group will be having their Christmas party and Nativity!  9.30am in Ashington Church

Next week will be the last Community Cafes of the term at both Ashington (Tuesday 12th) and Washington (Wednesday 13th). They will both open again in the New Year at the start of next term. With huge thanks to all our teams who bless the community with tea, coffee and cake!

Join us for our Carol services! Saturday 16 December at 6pm at Washington, Sunday 17 December at 6pm at Ashington, Friday 22 December at 5pm at Wiston.  Each service – a joyous celebration of God with us!

Ashington Beavers are having a cake sale on Monday 11th December at 5.30pm in the Scout Hall.  They have chosen the charity Make-a-Wish to help children who are not well to enjoy Christmas. All money raised will be given to this charity, and the Beavers work towards another Badge!

Sparkling wine, nibbles, then turkey with all the trimmings will follow the Celebration Service at 10am in Ashington on Christmas Day.
