We couldn’t wait two whole years to have another weekend together… So we are delighted to invite you to our third Chanctonbury Churches weekend! This year, we will be ‘at home’, based in the Village of Ashington for a ‘staycation’.
Setting a whole weekend aside offers us all precious space and time together. We are planning a mix of time to grow in God, time for us to be ‘family together’ in allowing our friendships and love for one another to deepen – and time for memories to be made!
As we are in Ashington, as you’ll see in the programme, we also want to be a blessing in our community.
We look forward to all the Lord has in store for us during this weekend!

This year’s theme
This year we want to make space to grow in our understanding and experience of God as Father: Knowing His heart invites us to know the same extravagant, intimate and loving relationship with God that Jesus enjoyed. Knowing God as Father deepens our understanding of the gospel, of a Heavenly Father longing for sons and daughters to return… As we go further in our identity in Him, we are expectant and excited to see godly vision, confidence, joy, peace, integrity – and love abounding more and more!
During the weekend, we are going to teach and minister from within our home team of leaders here in Chanctonbury Churches – giving us all a chance to connect with some of the new faces God is leading here this summer!
John opens His gospel by proclaiming Jesus came “from the Father’s heart, to make Him known…” (John 1:18) We pray the Father will reveal Himself profoundly and transformingly through Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit.
