Chanctonbury Befrienders is a confidential support network whose aim is to help you live life to the fullest degree that it can be lived. Visitors to your home are available to come alongside you, offer a ‘listening ear’, and to help you find a way forward in times of bereavement or feeling lonely and unwanted, or when life has been turned upside down because of financial difficulties, divorce, redundancy, long term illness, increasing frailty or terminal illness. The simple act of talking with a compassionate friend can help you get your thoughts in order, and give you the strength and courage to keep going when the sheer pressure of life too much for you.
