Church Lane Community Cafe, Ashington will re-open next Tuesday 9th January and we would love some more help! The cafe is such a wonderful and valued part of Community life, serving more than 60 people most Tuesday afternoons. All monies raised in Cafe by way of donations are given back to Local Ashington Community groups. The first session is fairly quiet session between 2-3.15pm mainly with our older people and mums with young children.From 3.15-4pm a lot of parents and children from the school arrive for a busy session, followed by clear up. The Cafe is closed during half-terms and the school holidays. It would be wonderful to have more help serving between 1.00pm-4.45pm and we also need a few bakers.
