Matt and Sarah Collison

Matt and Sarah have been part of Ashington Church since 2014. They felt called to move to the village to get stuck in with all The Lord is doing through the church in this area – put simply, there is no where else on earth they’d want to be! They have three young children, Sarah is the Benefice Service Coordinator, Matt is on the PCC and runs a design agency – they are both sold out to see the kingdom come, through the Church.

Creche is for children aged 1 –4  (Pre-school)

We love seeing our tiny ones encounter God for themselves! We provide a fun and safe space for them to be nurtured, flourish and grow in faith.

We meet in the small hall at the side of the Community Centre and offer the children lots of free play, a simple craft/messy play, a short story about God, singing and of course a snack!

Team Leader:  Amy-Jo Kidwell & Ruth Parnell

All our children’s leaders are DBS checked and trained in best practice.

Children’s Church

Children’s Church is an opportunity for children to encounter God for themselves and to grow deeper in their relationship with Him. Every Sunday we worship, learn from the bible and soak in God’s presence…  We also have loads of fun and games!

Alongside Sundays we also run socials, family gatherings and annual events.

Children’s Church is for children from Reception up to the end of school Year 6.

Team Leader: Holly Draper ( 0 -7 years)
& Nick Taylor ( 8 – 10 years)

Youth on Sundays starts with time to chill and connect at the Youth Club (1 min walk from the church) from 10.15am, before heading over to church for 11.00am. The Youth go back to the Youth Club during the Service for Worship, discipleship groups & bible studies.
